The committee responsible for the National Girls High School Rankings, which includes representatives from USA Wrestling, FloWrestling, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum located in Texas, announced the final national high school team rankings for the 2023-24 season today.

This ranking encompasses both public and private high schools across the United States, highlighting those states that host official and unofficial state championship events for girls. With all state championships concluded for the season, Texas schools have shown remarkable performance.

Allen High School from Texas made an impressive leap to No. 3, defending their title as Texas 6A state champions. Close behind, Lubbock Cooper High School, another Texas powerhouse, secured the No. 6 spot, clinching the Texas 5A state championship. Additional recognition goes to Conroe Woodlands College Park High School and Azle High School, both from Texas, for their notable achievements this season and inclusion in the rankings.

The selection committee expanded its ranking to include the top 50 teams, up from 40 in February, and also recognized 50 Honorable Mention teams, acknowledging a total of 100 high school programs nationwide this year.
