Let me take a few minutes of your time to encourage you to become a member of the Texas High School Wrestling Coaches Association (THSWCA).
Participation in our professional organization is important for the growth of our sport in the State of Texas because our organization is the major advisory committee that the UIL looks to for direction for wrestling in Texas. With input from you we are better able to communicate our visions, and effect the decisions made in Austin by the UIL concerning our sport.
Along with having a voice in decisions made by the UIL, membership in our Wrestling Coaches Association have additional benefits:
• Consideration for State Team Duals
• Access to the Coaches’ Hospitality Room at the State Wrestling Championships Tournament
• Scholarships for athletes
• Discounted entrance to other athletic events and clinics.
