Much like the new individual rankings, the WrestlingTexas team rankings are being tabulated based on ranking poll results of individual wrestlers.
For the “Tournament” ranking, each team earns points based on the number of top 5 wrestlers, with #1 more heavily weighted than #5. For “Dual Meet” rankings, we apply weighted scores for the team’s wrestlers ranked in the top 10.
The women’s team will be based off the top 10 ranked wrestlers for their tournament rankings and will not be ranked at this time on a dual ranking.
This poll will be updated weekly based on the coaches’ individual wrestler voting. Along side of the Coaches Poll Team Rankings
