Fargo Day 2, Moreno Captures 3rd Place With 8 Other Americans

While the 16U & Junior Women’s Freestyle finals are set for tonight. Texas didn’t come away with any champions this year but did come away with 9 All-Americans out if the 1,593 girl wrestlers competing in this tournament from 45 different states and 1 US territory on 30 total mats!  Texas had 34 women competing total.  

3x State Champ Olivia Moreno got the highest finish, placing 3rd @ 122lbs in the junior division followed by Jayda Fulp in the 16U division placing 4th @ 138lbs.

Texas Junior Women finished between 15th-18th overall with the 20 women competing with Olivia Moreno, Fernanda Lopez, Anna Vogt, Madeline Hodges, and Ariana Chavez claiming All-American. 

While the 16U women finished 20th overall with only 14 women competing and Ava Milliner, Taylin Silco, Jayda Fulp, and Juliana LeFort claiming All-American places.
