Fargo Day 2, Dillard takes 3rd, Cooley Makes All-American, Stoner Makes Round 16

With 3 different tournaments going on at the same time on day 2 things can get hectic.  The 16U girl’s tournament ended with Alicen Dillard claiming a 3rd place stop sign and Annebelle Davis claiming a 6th place stop sign.  The 16U men’s tournament was on day 2 with Kyle Lew, Issac Sheeren, and Aiden Cooley still left in the tournament with Cooley making All-American and the Junior Men’s Freestyle has started with 3 wrestlers making day 3.

16U-Women

The 16U girls who had 127-Alicen Dillard and 138-Annabelle Davis wrestling consolation rounds for medal placement.

 In Alicen Dillard’s first consolation match we saw her getting down early but came back and got the win with a fall to advance to the consolation semifinals against a Pennsylvania wrestler ranked #24 nationally.  Dillard ranked #14 @ 138 handled the Pennsylvania wrestler and got the win 9-2 to wrestle for 3rd place against Kayla Edwards of California who is unranked and with the score tied at 6-6 Dillard gets the fall for a 3rd place finish.  Dillard’s only loss in the tournament was to the eventual champ Skylar Little Soldier of Minnesota and that was a decision of 6-0.  Soldier was a back to back 16U Fargo champ.
