After Day 1 completion Texas has in the 9th and 10th grade division 19 out of 52 wrestlers making it to day #2 with D’Angelo Zuniga @ 120lbs of El Paso, a freshman, the only wrestler with more than 3 matches on the championship side with 4 making it to the quarter finals. The heavier weights 175lbs and up donāt have the quantity of wrestlers the lower weights had so they only have wrestled once or twice. However, Cody Savage, Sean Perez, Jett Mental, Gage Herrin, & Ricky Ibarra are still on the championship side.
The 11th and 12th graders had 103 Texas wrestlers start the afternoon with 37 making it to day 2. 11 Texas wrestlers are still on the championship side. Isaiah Mathew, Charlie Trujillo, Alexander Barros, Carter Canizaro, Timmy Fitzgerald, Carter Nekvapil, Dayne Garcia Stormer, Mason Negro, and all 3-285lbers Devin Quantz, Shane Trotter, Zachary Montclaim.
