Carrollton, TX – Head Coach Peter Hammer of WarHammer Wrestling Club is thrilled to announce WarHammer Wrestling’s first-ever All‑Girls Clinic led by World Champion & Olympian, Jacarra Winchester, on August 16, 2025 at Creekview High School in conjunction with Carrollton Thunder Wrestling Club.
Space is limited to 80 wrestlers.
To accommodate the number of girls registering for Jacarra’s clinic, WarHammer Wrestling is partnering with Carrollton Thunder Wrestling Club and their wrestling facilities at Creekview High School in Carrollton, TX.
It is Coach Hammer’s hope that the incredible strength in both the Texas and Oklahoma Girls wrestling programs will elevate and be mutually beneficial to both. According to Coach Hammer, “After personally training with Jacarra at the Cowboy Regional Training Center, I can say that she has an incredible depth of technical expertise and enormous strength in all of her positions. She is without a doubt a fearless warrior on the mat against both women and men. For girls and young women attending her camps, she definitely makes her clinics fun, empowering, and rewarding.”
As for those potential training opportunities between S. Oklahoma and North Texas girls wrestling, Hammer is thoughtful, “They are huge. To have someone like Jacarra teach the very best in transferable Freestyle techniques to young women means two things: 1. Those young women will dominate in Folkstyle at State 2026, and 2. Those young women will have a jump start when they get to college and find out that women wrestle Freestyle there, as well as internationally at the Olympics and at Worlds.”
A Higher Standard in Club Wrestling
Under Head Coach Peter Hammer, WarHammer Wrestling Club brings world‑class coaching, cutting‑edge training methodology, and athlete development paths designed to elevate competitors across age groups and weight classes. Hammer previously served as Head Coach of Freestyle & Greco for another club in Oklahoma where he coached 3 Fargo Qualifiers, including a State Triple Crown Winner and helped each of them make history in their own regard. Additionally, the club boasts guest clinicians such as 4x NCAA All-American and International Medalist, Roger Frizzell, and 7x Uzbek National Champion, Mirzo Khayitov. Khayitov in particular is the training partner for Roman Bravo-Young, Dean Hamiti, and Zahid Valencia; all out of the Cowboy Regional Training Center
Empowerment through Elite Girls‑Only Training
To celebrate its launch, WarHammer Wrestling is introducing Jacarra Winchester’s 1-Day All‑Girls Wrestling Camp, open to female wrestlers from elementary school through collegiate level.
“I’m super excited to bring my experience to this camp and help foster the next generation of female wrestlers,” said Jacarra Winchester. “Having grown up in an area that didn’t offer girls these kinds of opportunities to train and wrestle, I’m committed to giving as many girls as possible a powerful and supportive environment to take our sport to the next level. ● Age/Experience Levels: Elementary school through College—including beginners, intermediates, and advanced wrestlers with a minimum of 2-years wrestling experience.
● Requirements: Wrestlers must have a current USAW card (with Full Athlete Status in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco).
