Midwest Mat of Dreams Texas Results

With High School wrestling season starting this month, Texas clubs and their wrestlers have stepped up their travel with 23 high school, 4 middle school, and 2 youth women making the trip to Coralville Iowa for the 22 Mat of Dreams Girls Conflict for Charity tournament and Dual tournament this weekend with several clubs sending women but as always Sisters of the Mat sends a lot of girls for this tournament and like always have lots of placers.  It was Zaylyn Woods though of the youth division who came away with the only 1^st place finish out of all the Texas girls in the in dividual tournament even getting the fall in the first period in all 5 matches to claim her championship win.  Texas had 8 other finalists but all had to settle for the 2^nd place finish.
