16U Team Texas Day 2, Ota, Palmer, and Deutschlander Stayed Undefeated, National Greco Roman Dual Recap

Day 2 started off with round 2 in their respective brackets.  Team Texas A ran the gauntlet in the Red/Blue bracket beating each team handedly going 3-0 total, Kansas held with them but couldn’t pull it out.  This put Team A in the championship dual against Minnesota Red who went 3-0 in Pool B of the Red/Blue bracket. Minnesota Red was looking for revenge as they lost to Team A in the 5th place match in day 1 pool 39-38 with a DQ being the turning point.  This time Minnesota changes a few wrestlers around and even with Texas getting wins where they lost last match.  Minnesota takes the 1-point victory winning 37-36 giving Texas Team A 2nd place in their bracket and giving them 18th place over all out of 39 teams.

Team Iowa who Texas A lost to first dual went on to place first in the Greco Roman Division.
