The Texas Outlaw Tournament hosted by Allen Wrestling has top teams from various states competing against each other.
The tournament features some of the top boys teams from Texas in both 6A and 5A categories.
Phlox Photography will be on site to capture action shots, with an opportunity for individuals or teams to get special photos.
The boys preview for the tournament is split into two parts, with specific weight categories discussed in detail.
Notable wrestlers from different schools and states are mentioned for various weight classes in the tournament.

The Texas Outlaw Tournament January 3^rd & 4th

The Texas Outlaw Tournament hosted by Allen Wrestling for 18 years now has never been the largest tournament in Texas but has always been arguably the toughest with the top teams converging to Allen to compete against one of the best teams in the state for the last 15 years. This year is no different with Thompson and Hewitt-Trussville High School from Alabama bringing their team. Thompson has won state more than a few times in Alabama. Airline High School Louisiana, Moore High School, Carl Albert High School, Catoosa High School, and Blanchard High School from Oklahoma. Shawnee Mission Northwest High School out of Kansas, Gravette High School in Arkansas. Texas top boys teams include College Park, Rockwall, Dripping Springs, Lake Travis, Cinco Ranch, El Paso Franklin, Vandegrift, El Paso Pebble Hills, and Katy round out the top 20 teams from 6A. The 5A top teams are Azle, Frisco Centennial, and Cedar Park making a total of 14 Texas teams in the top 20 out of the 35 teams registered not counting the top teams from out of state. Also remember that the 2 pound allowance will be in affect so some of this wrestlers maybe at a lower weight for this tournament.
