Texas had 21 placers out of over 150 Texas wrestlers this year at Fargo, with 2 champions

The number of female wrestlers at Fargo has doubled, making the tournament even more challenging for girls
Special thanks to chaperones, coaches, and organizers for their hard work in making the tournament a success

Another Fargo tournament has come and gone. Lots of money and lots of wrestlers make the 15-hour drive or the 2 &1/2 flight. Some should of saved their money others should of spent their money.

Regardless The Fargo National tournament is the largest wrestling tournament in the USA with the toughest competitors from around the nation. It has been said that its tougher than the Ironman or the Super 32 just because the Ironman, and Super 32 is during school and some of the best can get out of school for various reasons. Fargo only interrupts vacation time.

Every year Texas sends hundreds of wrestlers to Fargo to compete with the nations best. Some of our Texas boys or girls have high rankings and don’t live up to it or not ranked and beat highly ranked wrestlers. Some just have dumb luck, others have great luck. If we went by who was the best on paper or rankings we wouldn’t have to wrestle.
