2024 National Girls High School Preseason Rankings: Texas’ Top Girls Wrestlers to Watch

The 2024 National Girls High School Preseason Rankings have been released, offering a fresh look at the nation’s top female wrestlers for the upcoming season. The rankings, compiled by USA Wrestling, FloWrestling, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, evaluate high school girls in grades 8-12 across all 50 states. Notably, the list has been reshaped by the graduation of last year’s senior class and bolstered by the inclusion of promising new talent, including incoming eighth graders.

Among the key highlights for Texas fans is the continued dominance of Texas wrestlers in the rankings. Hailey Delgado from El Paso Eastwood retains her No. 1 ranking at 95 pounds, a testament to her hard work and skill, including international success.

Delgado is just a freshman but has already captured national attention with her remarkable performances. Delgado also makes her debut in the national Pound-for-Pound rankings, with a #20 ranking.

95 Pounds:

  • Hailey Delgado (Eastwood, El Paso) – Ranked 1st A freshman phenom, Hailey Delgado enters the 2024 season as the top-ranked wrestler in the 95-pound weight class.
