Seth Duckworth
Schreiner University is one of Texas’ newest wrestling programs. The women’s team has seen incredible success early on and even crowned an All-American at the NCWWC tournament this year. The program has mainly competed in the NCWA in these first few building years.
They announced today via their Facebook page that they will be joining NCAA Division three.
Texas has NAIA programs with Texas Wesleyan and Wayland Baptist, but this will give Texas their only NCAA team.
The men’s team will start competing in Division III next season.
