Coming into the 2018/2019 High School wrestling season. WrestlingTexas is once again taking another step forward, its been a graduate climb in the last 3 years and this year we look to get better yet. Tom Dendy from the Houston area has brought the photo aspect from a 1 man show to now we have 6 photographers total and looking for more. Our goal is to have a photographer and reporter at each major tournament in Texas. We need more DFW, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, and Amarillo/Pan Handle and Corpus Christi/Far South areas photographers.
Our goal is to increase the college Texas reporting at all divisions not just the D1, and to increase the youth reporting.
Along with photographers we need more beat writers. Keeping the stories from every region going every week keeps the college coaches reading which gets our Texas Boys and Girls noticed.
The rankings each year has gotten more intense and I believe we have a pretty good system going but honestly its hard for me to keep up with it each week for the whole State, so we are also looking for at least 4 more people, coaches, parents or fans to help with the weekly rankings.
