Richland Community College in Dallas, Texas is resurrecting its mens wrestling program and adding a women’s program as well. A strong program in the 1970’s and 80’s boasting 7 state championships in 10 years, the Thunderducks will be affiliated with NCWA for both men and women and adding women to the WCWA.
Bill Neal, the original coach will again be doing the coaching. A non-scholarship program, Richland affords local students a chance to continue their education and to also wrestle. A quality education at a nominal price is an enticing opportunity.
Bill Neal, a member of the USA Greco-Roman Coaching Staff for seven years (70’s and 80’s) has coached 27 Texas State Champions, and 47 place finishers; 4 national champions, 1 World Champion, and 1 Olympian.
