Obviously the big tournament this weekend is the Stockyard Stampede a Tour of America tournament being held in Ft Worth at the coliseum along with the mens and women’s senior national qualifier of the Olympic team trials.
Out of Town
Zinken Classic tournament @ Buchanan High School in Clovis California is where Allen High School Boys is heading this weekend which could be a tougher tournament then the Reno TOC. You can catch the action on Trackwrestling or Flo they are listed on both sites.
Kansas City Stampede @ HyVee Arena in Kansas City will have KleinHigh School and Canyon Randall making the scene. Wrestlingtexas will have a photographer at this tournament catching the Texas action. Flo has this tournament so no more information.
Duncan Southern Oklahoma Invitational @ Duncan High School in Duncan Oklahoma will have 5 Texas teams with Amarillo Caprock, Lubbock High, Lubbock Monterey, McKinney Christian Academy, and Rockwall.
In State
Juarez Lincoln Invitational @ Juarez-Lincoln High School in Mission Texas is a small 14 team tournament with all the area schools. Both boys and girls.
2019 Lady Texas Invitational @ WB Ray in Corpus Christi is a ladies only tournament with all local teams with a couple from the Valley and Austin.
3rd Annual Texas Ladies Christmas Classic @ Central High School in Ft Worth. Another all ladies tournament and this tournament will have allot of the top ranked 5A and 6A girls doing battle.
Dallas Rookie Tournament @ Dallas Hillcrest High School in Dallas for both Boys and Girls and like the name says ROOKIE. 21 Dallas teams full of rookies with Prosper sending 30 rookies down as well.
23rd Annual Doc Hess Classic @ Bryan High School in Bryan. This tournament is the largest in Texas this weekend with over 48 team in attendance, boys and girls with JV included. Wrestlingtexas will be in the house for this one covering the action.
7th Annual Takedown Alzheimers Classic @ Keller High School in Keller. A small 6 team boys tournament with El Paso Chapin scheduled to make the trip per trackwrestling.
Gulf Coast Duals @ WB Ray High School in Corpus Christi is a 12 team dual with the local teams.
Hill Country Invitational @ Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park (Austin). A 21 team boys and girls with some DFW teams making the trip south. Wrestlingtexas will be in the house for this tournament as well.
Lady Cougar Classic @ The Colony High School in The Colony (DFW). A small 13 team ladies only tournament with mostly 5A teams with Allen and Lewisville representing the 6A.
Mr and Mrs Santa Claus Slam and Santa Duals @ Coppell High School in Coppell (DFW). This tournament with boys and girls is a mixture of the DFW teams with Houston Westside showing to make the trip up with an Oklahoma team making the trip down.
Wylie Invitational @ Wylie High School in Wylie (DFW) both boys and girls tournament with local area teams, Argyle is making the longest trip. Might get to see a #1 vs #2 at the 145 lb with Heath Roth and Spencer Buchholz.
