Week #2 in Texas

Week #2 thru Thanksgiving Holiday

Hopefully with regular season football over we will start to see some fuller line ups as the wrestlers continue to cut weight and get certified.  Most of the schools have their trackwrestling wrestler roster almost completed as well.  This weekend thru Thanksgiving Holiday Week we will list the high school tournaments to catch in your area.  One of the notables seen is the emerging GIRLS Prep teams.  Last year it was Bishop Lynch making the scene as the first girls’ team, now All Saints Episcopal, Bishop TK Gorman, and Ft Worth Country Day are listed on different tournaments has having a girls team.

13 Annual Heath Invitational

At Rockwall-Heath High School in the DFW area is a 20-team tournament with an almost split between 5A and 6A teams.  Dumas is on the list making the 8-hour trip down from the panhandle with 2 local prep teams.  Houston Clear Lake High School is making the trip up as well.   The girls have 20 teams with the 5 new comers from Mesquite making the scene.  Dumas and Clear Lake will be in attendance as well.
