Wayland Baptist’s Asia Ray is Wrestler of the Week

Asia Ray is wrestlingtexas wrestler of the week, a product of Arlington wrestling and now a Wayland Baptist Wrestler.
Junior World bronze medalist Ray surrendered only one point on the weekend to win the title at 101 pounds, emerging from pool action with an unblemished 5-0 record, which included three pins and two technical falls. In bracket play, Ray notched two pins to earn a spot in the finals, where she defeated Grays Harbor freshman Nina Pham with a 10-0 tech fall.
