Warden and Britten Shine as Cadet Freestyle Wrapped up Today.

Chase Warden of Dripping Springs didn’t make the cut last season at Fargo in the Freestyle competition but this year after taking a quarter final loss to a nationally ranked Travis Mastrogiovanni of Blair New Jersey a sophomore ranked #13 Warden came storming back and got within one match for 3rd place.  Warden takes a 5th place finish. Warden placed 7th in Greco last season.

Branson Britten of Canyon Randall was the only other Texan to get an All American Stop Sign from Fargo placing 7th.  This is Britten’s first Fargo All American.

Over all as a team everyone did well.  A lot of the loses early were from nationally ranked wrestlers matching up with Texas early.  Cadet Greco starts at 9am Wednesday morning and they do it all over again.

Great Job Team Texas and Coaches
