UPDATES ON EXHIBITION

There is something exciting going on in Frisco, Texas this weekend.  Frisco is hosting the Pan American Olympic Qualifier tournament this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at the Dr. Pepper Star Center.

 

The women take the mat on Friday, followed by Men’s Freestyle on Saturday and Men’s Greco Roman on Sunday.  There are two sessions a day from 10:00 am to 1:oo Pm and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

On Saturday afternoon prior to the finals, there are a number of exciting events that will be taking place.

 

The first involves showcasing Texas wrestling with an exhibition that includes both Youth and High School Wrestlers from 3:00 to 5:00. p.m.

 

Youth Wrestlers from the Frisco Bombers, Allen Best Trained and Team Punisher will be paired up in some exciting matches where the wrestlers will be coached by the US Olympic Team Coaching staff.

 

The High School Wrestlers will take the stage with some exciting bouts between the State 5A State Champions and the State 6A State Champions.

 

Key match-ups include 182 pounders Dripping Springs Luke Hodsden against Allen’s Dalton Miller, 138 Pounders Jacob Moore from Frisco Centennial against Kennedy Monday from Arlington Martin, and 170 pounders, Zach Diaz from Amarillo Boys Ranch and Jack DuVal from South Lake Carroll.

Then it is time to watch the finals of the Men’s Freestyle Olympic Qualifying Tournament.  It is going to be a great afternoon and evening.  Come on out and see the show.
