We are exactly 2 weeks away from the 1st district tournaments as we get closer to the run @ UIL State we have a lot of district duals going down and tournaments with with a lot of districts competing which will no doubtingly be used for seeding criteria for the up and coming district and regional events. Below is some of this weekends events
The Ridge Invite III @ Cypress Ridge High School in Houston. A smaller boys and girls tournament with local Houston teams. Wrestlingtexas will be in house covering the action, click here for your reserved spotlight.
Allen District Duals @ Allen High School in Allen. This dual tournament has shrunk down to a Quad as the other district teams are else where. Allen, Prosper, Coppell, and Wylie are still scheduled to dual. Wrestlingtexas will be in house covering the action, click here for your reserved spotlight.
District 9-6A Duals @ Cinco Ranch High School in Katy. This is a 9 team district dual comprised of all the Katy ISD schools which includes Houston Strake Jesuit and George Ranch. Boys and girls. Wrestlingtexas will be in house covering the action, click here for your reserved spotlight.
61th Rocky Welton Invitational @ Garden City High School in Garden city Kansas. Canyon Randall makes the journey across Oklahoma into Kansas to attend this 42 team tournament with teams from Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
Heart of Texas Nationals @ Round Rock Sports Center in Round Rock. large youth tournament and Novice Youth State.
UIL 16-5A Boys Dual Championships @ Rio Grande City HS Gymnasium in Rio Grande City. The 11 district teams from the valley dual it out boys and girls.
Bowie Tournament @ Bowie High School in El Paso. This is a 34 team girls and 36 team boys tournament with teams from New Mexico, Arizona, and almost every El Paso team. This will be a tournament to watch.
3rd Annual Bowie Tournament @ Bowie High School in Arlington. This boys and girls is the largest in the DFW area with Uvalde making the trip up from the valley. 43 plus teams.
2019 Black N Blue Invitational @ Corbett Middle School in Cibolo, High School boys and girls all from surrounding areas.
2019 Top Gun Tournament @ Veterans Memorial High School in Corpus Christi. Boys and girls smaller tournament with all the area teams.
9th Annual Coyote Classic @ Frisco Heritage High School in Frisco, Boys and girls with Austin Bowie, and Lake Travis making their annual trip up.
Panther Classic @ Plano East High School in Plano has a big mixture of 5A and 6A boys and girls teams from the DFW area with 4-5 teams coming up from the south like Killeen, Vandegrift, Klein Oak and Bryan
Jaguar Invitational @ Flowermound High School in Flowermound is a small 10 team tournament.
