Tri-City Championships Showcase Boys Wrestling Excellence in Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD

In the recently concluded Tri-City Championships held at Pharr, San Juan Alamo ISD, the wrestling competition showcased outstanding performances by athletes from various weight classes. In the 106-pound category, Rolando Parra of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo secured the top spot, demonstrating his prowess on the mat. Eusebio Cavazos of PSJA Maroon claimed the second position after a hard-fought competition.

Moving on to the 113-pound category, Tristan Corona of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo emerged victorious, clinching the first-place position. AJ Marez of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial secured the second spot, showcasing remarkable skills throughout the competition.

The 120-pound category witnessed an impressive display of wrestling skills by Romeo Ramos of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, who secured the first-place position. Miguel Casas of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North demonstrated resilience and secured the second position.

In the 126-pound category, Ricardo Fernandez of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo stood out as the top wrestler, showcasing exceptional technique and determination. Matthew Martinez of North Black and Arturo Pena of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North secured the second and third positions, respectively.

The 132-pound category at the Tri-City Championships in Pharr-San Juan-Alamo showcased the wrestling prowess of Luis Garza from Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, securing the first-place position with impressive victories in each round.

Moving on to the 138-pound category, Dylan Hernandez of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North claimed the top spot, outperforming opponents, including a decisive win against Julio Briones of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo in the final round….
