Top 3 to qualify for state

Update to the UIL state wrestling tournament, the top 3 individuals from each weight class advance from District to Regionals & Regionals to State. This is an increase from the previously number of top 2 to qualifiy form regionals to state.

Postseason Tournaments

• Top 3 individuals from each weight class advance from District to Regionals & Regionals to State.
• Regionals will utilize a 12-person bracket WB-3rd Place 6.
• State will utilize a 12-person bracket WB-5th Place 6.

State Tournament

Dates: April 23, 2021 (5A), April 24, 2021 (6A)

• 5A & 6A tournaments will be held on separate days.
• 12-person bracket WB 5th, place to 6.
• Team Championships, 1^st – 3^rd.
• Place 1^st – 6^th .
