It took awhile but we finally got the break down of the toughest region and even went further to show the toughest district. This all being based off all the state placers and not the state rankings which at this point are about the same.
In the 6A boys, Region 2 had the most state placers with 33 out of a possible 84. with Region 1 coming into the 2nd place position at 25 followed by Region 3 with 16 and Region 4 with only 10 state placers.
District 6 looked to be the toughest district by a landslide. Thats the Allen high school district but with 17 total state placers it wasn’t just Allen High School, Plano West had 4 state placers to go with Allens 12 placers and Prosper taking the last placer spot. District 3 almost hit double digit placers but did have 3 state champs.

Region 1 was the 5A boys toughest region with 30 state placers total out of 84. The other regions followed in order with region 2 having 22 placers, region 3 having 19 placers and region 4 getting 13 placers. District 3 was a combo mix of the 2 top 5A schools Canyon Randall and Dumas matching the 6A district 6 with 17 total placers. District 8 & 9 reached the double digits placers with 10 each.
