The Ridge Invite VI-Girls

The girl’s side of the Ridge Invite didn’t disappoint. A lot of great matches with some wrestlers making final preparations for Districts and some getting used to new weight classes. It made for an exciting last weekend of the regular season. Some key competitors sat out whether it was due to UIL regulations or injury or just getting mentally refreshed and ready to go for the postseason. Here is how everything went down. Starting with the Team race.

1st Place

Cy-Ranch 161.5 pts.-With a few of their top wrestlers sitting this one out Ranch was still the one to beat. Primed for a State Team title run. The Top Performers were: Mariana Bozo 132 1st, Sara Garza 135 1st, Raylan Ross 165 2nd, and Mary Roy 185 2nd

2nd Place

Langham Creek 141 pts.-The young guns of Langham Creek look like the up-and-comers that they are. They will be a force in the years to come. Tops Dogs were Hailey Bello 100 1st, Ashley Ramos 100 2nd, Amy Sorto 165 1st, and Melanie Alvarez 138 2nd.

3rd Place

Cy-Creek 120 pts.-With some holes in the middleweights, Cy-Creek was still able to finish up in 3rd place getting a couple of 1st from there, top peeps. The top Performers were Camille Bryson 120 1st, Emma Thomas 185 1st, Alexis Bailey 145 1st, and Destinee Harris 235 2nd.
