The Calm Before The Storm

This is the last weekend before heading into district wrestling on the road to state.  Some teams will be getting in one last dual to get that final weight cut. The district varsity wrestling officially starts on Tuesday the last day of the month next week with district 6-5A in Burleson that’s south of Ft Worth.  This is when we will see where wrestlers make their run at which weight.  There is always that big surprise to see who cuts and who doesn’t.  Only a couple of varsity tournaments this weekend but the weekend is still busy with a whole lot of JV district championships happening around the state.  Got some Middle School State Championships happening as well.  No one to my knowledge is traveling out of state.  Allen was scheduled to travel to Tuttle Oklahoma on Tuesday for a dual but was canceled for weather reasons.
