WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – The 2026 USA Wrestling 16U and Junior Folkstyle Nationals wrapped up this weekend at The MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex, and the Lone Star State was well represented on the podium. Texas athletes made their mark across multiple divisions, securing four national championships and numerous placement finishes.

Here is the complete breakdown of the top Texas finishers from the weekend.

Four National Champions Crowned

Texas wrestlers claimed the top spot on the podium in four different divisions, showcasing talent from the youth levels up to the veterans:

  • Zaylyn Woods (Sisters on the Mat): Dominated the 16U Girls 130-pound bracket to capture the national title.
  • Jordyn Parker (Best Trained Wrestling): Took home the gold in the Junior Girls 140-pound division.
  • Nathaniel Falconer (Best Trained Wrestling): Secured the Masters C 68.1-69.9 kg national championship.
  • James Miller (Vici Wrestling Club): Won the Masters E 86.6-98.6 kg national title.

16U Girls Medalists

  • 95: Brielle Trang (All American Wrestling Club Southlake), 6th
