ROUND ROCK, TX — Texas wrestling is coming together like never before. Texas USA Wrestling, the Texas Wrestling Coaches Association (TWCA), and the Texas Wrestling Officials Association (TWOA) will host the inaugural TX Wrestling Summit on September 11–12, 2026, at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, TX — a first-of-its-kind event bringing all three organizations together under one roof.
The two-day Summit is built around education, competition, and community, with programming for coaches, officials, athletes, and families from every corner of the state.
Highlights include:
- National Championship Coach Troy Tirapelle (Buchanan High School, CA) leading coaching sessions and an exclusive Q&A
- The TX ONE All-Star Dual, featuring the best high school wrestlers in Texas
- Practical coaching education covering techniques, practice planning, and program-building strategies coaches can take back to their room the very next week
- Officials education and collaboration aimed at continuing to raise the standard of wrestling across Texas
- Dedicated girls wrestling sessions focused on one of the fastest-growing sports in the state
- The Texas Wrestling Awards, celebrating the athletes, coaches, officials, and leaders making an impact
- Opportunities to connect with coaches and wrestling leaders statewide to share ideas, build relationships, and grow the sport together
“This is more than a clinic — it’s a chance for the entire Texas wrestling community to come together, learn from the best, and help shape the future of wrestling in our state,” organizers said.
