Texas Girls Defeat Oklahoma in Red River Rivalry Dual

This Sunday Southlake Carroll and the Texas High School Wrestling Coaches Association hosted the first-ever “Red River Rivalry” dual between All-Star teams from Texas and Oklahoma.

It was all Team Texas in the first-ever girls’ edition.

The Texas Girls defeated the Oklahoma Girls 46-9 only giving up two losses in the entire dual.

Olivia DeGeorgio, Avery Martinez, Tatiana Garcia, Taylor Martinez, Sage Benca, and Camryn Tressler all picked up falls while Bayley Trang won by injury default, and Aremie Steele by Maj decision.

The only two losses for Texas came at 130 and 191 where Belen Rios and Niyasia McCampbell both fell.

Just an absolutely dominant performance by the Texas girls.
