The Freakshow was the west coast tournament of the weekend and Texas wrestlers invaded Las Vegas with over 100 competitors. This tournament runs long and a few of the wrestlers had to forfeit out to get back home and a lot of wrestler were added after the original registration was released. We kept up with the Texas registered wrestlers and am sure we missed a few but some of the highlights were.

Texas had 7 finalists in the boy’s division with 2 champs while the girls only had 3 finalists but came away with 3 champions.

These brackets where so big that it took Finn Shepard of Arlington Martin 10 matches to just place 6^th. Triston Rios of Willis wrestled 9 matches to take a 5^th place finish. Both Shepard and Rios wrestled the last 3 matches in a 1 hour time frame. Karson Tompkins of Midlothian made the Elite 18U finals where he narrowly lost to the Fargo champ by a 1-0 decision.
