Texas: Boys 5A/6A Finals Line up

The finals are set for later Saturday in the UIL Wrestling State Championships in the boys’ brackets. In 5A, there will be 13 No. 1-ranked wrestlers in the finals, with the exception of 138. The 5A finals will also have two No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdowns and four No. 1 vs. No. 3.

The WrestlingTexas rankings had half of the finals field in Class 6A with seven of the 14 pitting No. 1 vs. No. 2 for the state title. There are two No. 2 seeds as the highest seeds in the 6A finals and 12 with the top seeds. The Arlington Martin Warriors will have four in the finals, one more than Allen β€” the 13-time defending champions.
