Texans @ Veteran World Championships

Next week we have a few of our Texas own coaches and veteran members traveling to Loutraki Greece to compete at the Veterans World Championships October 19-24.  Couple of notables NB Elite club coach Steve Horton making his return trip. This will be Horton’s 11^th World Championship. Horton has won 14 medals in the last 10 events between Freestyle and Greco Roman taking the Silver Medal in the last 4 events.    

Prosper High School head coach Sion King is also making the trip competing in his first World Championships in the freestyle event in the division B. King has competed in the USA Masters Folkstyle in 2015 where he won Gold and the Veterans Freestyle Nationals in 2019 where he took home Silver.  
The event was cancelled last year due to Covid.
