The Pan American Championships held in Morelia Mexico not only had Team USA in the house they had some of our favorite Officials and Coach.
Coach Steve Horton the Texas USA FS/GR mens Director and Coach for NB Elite wrestling Club was one of the coaches for the Team USA Cadets and was apart of the USA winning the mens Greco Roman team Championship coaching 8 wrestlers to Gold. Overall, the United States went 27-2 on the day and ran away with the team title. Freestyle happens today and should be close to the same results with the same team.
Randall Balch and Na Humma both out of McKinney Texas were 2 of the officials representing USA/Texas
Of Course we have our very own Samara Chavez of Arlington Martin HS and Spartan Mat Club going 4-0 winning the Gold at the 49kg weight.
