The Team Texas Junior Womens Freestyle Team started with 39 wrestlers and after the 2nd day are down to only 6 wrestlers left. Charlie Hamer at 100, Xochitl Mota-Pettis at 127, and Alex Liles at 132 are all 3 in the Semi Finals and guaranteed All American Status. Hamer and Pettis are going for their first National Finals appearance while Liles is the Returning Champ looking to defend her crown.
Mattison Parker at 138, Bianca Rosales and Kacie Rodriguez both at 200 weight class have also guaranteed themselves an All American Status and are wrestling on the consolation side.
