Greco tournament comes to a close with Texas Blue going 4-0 in the Red/Blue bracket . The team started out with close wins over team Pennsylvania and Colorado. Then they put a thrashing on Kansas red which earned them another shot at Georgia who beat them yesterday. The guys were wrestling very aggressively today ,and looked like a completely different team. They brought their best stuff to the final match against Georgia, and even with a few bad calls going against them , they managed to get the win on criteria and some payback

Texas Red went 3-1 in the Green/yellow bracket grabbing a third-place finish. Their only loss was to South Carolina and ironically it came down to the last match. It just happened to be against Texas’s own Jake Hart competing for the South Carolina team , and taking on Hunter White. Jake was able to get the win and his team to victory, but Hunter got his attention when he threw him for five early in the match. Not quite enough to get by The Team Texas cadet duals OW from 2015 .
Congratulations to the
“Irish Bomber,” Collin Lawler earning All tournament honors going undefeated at 6-0! Bagpipes actually played over the speakers after his final match , that’s no joke.
Other outstanding performances by Jordan Strmiska (6–1 ), and Nathan Grimes (6-1). As well as Colton Williams, Brice Clexton , Hunter White , Brodie Beckman , James Ayers, Jordan Haskins , and Nathan Rankin , all finishing very strong.
