Team Texas Freestyle National Duals Day 1 Recap

Texas blue wrestling in the bronze pool suffered a close loss to North Dakota last night. It was a really long day and it looked like the fatigue set in by that last dual. One of the first things we noticed in camp was that many of these kids showed up not in the greatest shape. Yesterday’s lengthy schedule definitely exposed that. And once again the blue team starts with another setback this morning. One of their best in the lineup gets tossed out due to the excessive use and size of his mouth,  and overall letting his emotions get the best of him. Can’t have it , won’t tolerate it.

They are back in Deepwater again today against some very tough teams . They will have to get by with what they got.

Red team had a rough start yesterday  going 0-3 in the first bracket , although they had to go up against Pennsylvania, Iowa blue, Georgia blue. Falling into the green/yellow pool they got a win against Arkansas last night. They are looking to continue the momentum and finish strong today.
And the young Cadet Jordan Stramiska at 106 is the only wrestler undefeated in the freestyle staying in the hunt for All Tournament Honor??
