The Wrestlingtexas Team Rankings are different from the coaches rankings. They are based on the value of the ranked wrestlers.
As in the individual rankings where each wrestler when voted on gets a point value per rank, that rank represents a number value, the numbers are added up and sorted from the most to least. Those same number values are what is used to calculate the team rankings.
Dual Team Rankings are based off the top 10 Wrestlers per weight
Tournament Team Rankings are based off the top 5 wrestlers per weight
