Tamyra Mensah-Stock Wins Fourth Straight Pan-Am Championships Gold

Texan Tamyra Mensah-Stock has been as close to untouchable as it gets recently on the International stage, and that trend continued this weekend in Guatemala at the Pan American Championships.

Stock came in as the heavy favorite to win the 68 KG title and did so in dominating fashion. Stock won two matches by tech fall and one by pin including this quarterfinal tech fall.

In the finals, Mensah-Stock faced her toughest test in Yessica Oviedo Perez of Dominican Republic. She won the bout 10-4 giving up her only points of the tournament in a 4 point takedown while up 6-0. This adds to her 2019 and 2020 Pan Am Championships titles and her 2020 Pan Am Games gold.
