With each bout, athletes aimed not only for victory but also for the coveted spots to advance to the regional 4-5A Tournament. 

In the team standings at the District 14-5A Boys Wrestling Tournament held at the Alamo Convocation Center in San Antonio, Texas, Comal Smithson Valley emerged as the dominant force, securing the top spot with a commanding score of 293.0. Comal Pieper showcased their prowess, securing the second position with a commendable score of 254.0. Meanwhile, Comal Canyon, Uvalde, and San Antonio MacArthur claimed the third, fourth, and fifth positions with scores of 178.0, 158.0, and 124.0, respectively. These standings reflect the impressive performances and competitive spirit displayed by the participating teams in this wrestling showdown.

In the 106 weight class, the crowd witnessed a thrilling 1st place match where Hudson Chilton of Comal Smithson Valley secured victory over Braden Morris of Comal Canyon with a decisive fall in 3 minutes and 32 seconds. The 3rd place match saw David Carter of Comal Pieper asserting dominance over Abidullah Mohammadi of San Antonio Lanier, securing the win in a swift 30 seconds pin. In the 5th place match, Stephen Irving of Comal Davenport claimed victory by securing a bye. 

Ethan Cobarrubias of Comal Pieper showcased his prowess in the 113 weight class, clinching the 1st place title with a masterful performance, defeating Jonathan Pacheco of San Antonio Wagner with a commanding 10-0 major decision. The 3rd place match witnessed Brett Goddard of La Vernia securing a victory over Cody Humphrey of San Antonio Veterans Memorial with a fall in 4 minutes and 5 seconds. Mark Parker of Comal Canyon claimed the 5th place spot with a pin in 3 minutes and 32 seconds.
