Red River Rivalry Line Up.

The 2nd Annual Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma that was started back up last year continues again this year putting the best Texas and Oklahoma wrestlers against each other in an All-Star Dual. Like last year, the event will be held at Southlake Carroll High School, (800 N. White Chapel Blvd, Southlake Tx).  On Sunday November 6th, at 1:00pm.  Tickets to the event will be available at the door.

Last season’s UIL coaches of the year will be the team coaches.  Robert Myers of South Grand Prairie and Jessica Fresh of Northwest are the 6A and 5A coaches of the year for the boys.  Chris Potter of Houston Cypress Ranch and Randall Balch of Dallas Hillcrest are the 6A and 5A coaches of the year for the girls team.

Last year the Texas Boys dropped a close dual to the Oklahoma Boys 27-15, while the Texas Girls won all but 2 matches against Oklahoma Girls winning the dual 46-9.  This year Texas is loaded with 6 state champs on the boy’s side, and 4 on the girls’ team with multiple state placers on both sides.
