Recap: Cavalier Clash Girls Tournament

Here we go with some HS Wrestling the day after Thanksgiving. Just what all your calorie counters are looking forward to.

Unfortunately, several teams had too much stuffing and had to back out last minute. And with all the injuries, weigh issues and the nasty flu going around a lot of teams were not at full strength.

But as always, the ladies delivered with some first class competition and yes some ranking implicated match-ups.

First off, coming in 3rd with a solid group of young up and comers was Katy at 205 pts., then Klein Oaks and Cypress Ranch with their veteran groups battled out for first with Cypress Ranch taking first by 11 pts, 259-248.

Here is the breakdown of Championship Matches:

100

#4 Arianna Beltran So. (Cypress Ranch)
Dec 9-7
NR Heaven Herrera Jr. (Conroe Grand Oaks)

Beltran overpowers Herrera for the first 2 periods and jumps out to a 7-2 lead to start the 3rd. Beltran start 3rd with a TD but Herrara battles back with an escape, TD and NF but runs out of time. Way to not stop wrestling.
