On Friday and Saturday, January 19-20, Klein Collins High School will host the 2024 Tiger Classic. As of the tournament deadline of 8 PM, there are currently 27 Girls teams scheduled to participate, with a total of 269 girls registered to wrestle.
49 ranked wrestlers are on the teams that will be in attendance. 30 of the wrestlers are in the Top Ten. 14 wrestlers are in the Top Five. And 4 are returning State Champions.
The names of the wrestlers have not been released yet, but because their team will be present, there is a great possibility that they will hit the mats at the tournament. There’s no guarantee who will be there, or which weight they choose to wrestle, but one thing is for certain, if you want to know firsthand, you’ve got to be there.
