Pettis and Holloway are Junior Women National Champions

Xochitl Mota-Pettis of Klein Hs, Nationally ranked #2 all year wins in Fargo her first National Championship.  Pettis the #1 seed at 127, placed 4th last year in 2017 and 8th in 2016 making her a 3x All American.  Pettis first 2 matches were by tech-falls, then it was by fall’s all the way through the finals.
Gaby Holloway of Katy Seven Lakes HS a State Champ this 2017/2018 season and #1 Nationally ranked wrestler was a 3rd seed. Holloways shining moment was in the semi finals where she was down 6-0 and reversed Santoyo of California for a fall to push her into the finals where she then met up with the #3 Nationally ranked wrestler who happens to be from Texas as well Alyssa Alvarez of Prosper.  Holloway defended her #1 National and State ranking with a fall.

8 other women placed All American as well with Kaylynn Albrecht making the finals as well. Kaylynn met up with the 2x Cadet and Junior World Champ Macey Kilty of Wisconsin .  Albrecht place 2nd with Alvarez.
