Parker Decker of Keller didn’t waste time this year on achieving his goal of National Champion. It only took 36 seconds to tech-fall Joey Cape of Illinois making Decker the only Champion Team Texas Boys has had thus far in Fargo for 2018. Parker had wrestled 120 cadet freestyle and dropped down to 113 for Cadet Greco
Preston Decker also of Keller took a 6th place finish. Preston at 132 got injured in his semi final match and forfeited out the remaining 2 matches for 6th place.
Chase Warden of Dripping Springs placed 3rd which bettered his 7th place finish in Greco from last year and his 5th place finish in freestyle a couple days ago. Warden other then his loss in the semi finals 11-8 only gave up 1 point in his other 6 matches tech falling everyone else.
Branson Britten of Canyon Randall bettered his 7th place finish in cadet freestyle by placing 6th in Cadet Greco.
Darwin Hull who is attending Wyoming Seminary lost in the quarter finals and battled all the way back 4 match straight to take 3rd place. Hull had a close call in the blood round with Minnesota till Hull got the fall and then tech called the rest the way.
