The 2019 AAU Scholastic Duals was happening this past weekend with more teams than the USA National Duals. Although it was a folk style tournament, 181 teams with 2694 wrestlers invaded Orlando Florida and the lone Texas Team was Ohana Wrestling Academy. They battled 9 duals against some of the top club teams in the Nation.
Nathan Alvarez was the stand out wrestler for Texas as he went 6-1 (8-1 if count forfeits) on the 4 day tournament with his only loss being an injury default.
Congrats to Ohana Wrestling Academy for making the trip.
