While all the high school wrestlers were getting all the attention last weekend 2 wrestlers from Texas made the journey to compete at the NHSCA Nationals in Virginia City. Oden Hicks of Kincaid made it to the semi finals at 112 where he took his first loss. Hicks then wrestled back through the consolation and took 5th place in a 64 man bracket going 5-2 on the day for the All American.
Roberto Bautista was the other texan at the tournament wrestling at 119 he went 2-2 on the day.
