We hope everyone had a good time at the TX USA Kickoff Classic. The Freestyle and Greco Roman season contines this week with the Coppell Spring Jam

Please note a couple of changes

·     TIME CHANGE – *Youth Divisions: Bantam, Intermediate, Novice, and Schoolboy. Weigh-ins are from 7:00-7:30 am and we will start the kids divisions at 8:00 am or as soon as possible.* Cadet, Junior, Open, and Girls will weigh-in from 8:00 – 9:00 am. Wrestling begins as soon as possible. The Freestyle Division will be wrestled first.

·     We will not be charging a spectator fee for this event. Instead we ask you to bring canned goods or other food items for a canned food drive for the North Texas Food Bank. Let us help out those in need.

If you know anyone that is not receiving the TX USA Wrestling North Region Newsletter, let them know that they can text TXUSAWNORTH to 22828 to sign up. They will be prompted to provide their email address.

Finally, we would like to congratulate another North Texas wrestler, AJ Ferrari of Best Trained in Allen, TX, on becoming a National Champion at the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals. Great job!

Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournaments for all ages.

We will not be charging a spectator fee for this event. Instead we ask you to bring canned goods or other food items for a canned food drive for the North Texas Food Bank. Let us help out those in need.

The event will take place in the Coppell High School Gymnasium. Medals are awarded for the top 3 placers in every division. Please park in the north parking lot.

2018 USA Wrestling cards are required. If you do not already have a card, it MUST be purchased online at www.teamusa.org/USA-Wrestling prior to the event.

Pre-registration at www.trackwrestling.com is required.

ALL COACHES MUST HAVE A CURRENT USAW CARD AND MATSIDE BADGE TO COACH AT THIS TOURNAMENT. Contact [email protected] for matside badge.

Entry fee is $15.00 for one style and $25.00 for both Freestyle and Greco. There is a $10.00 additional fee per entry for on-site registration. There is no charge for OPEN division wrestlers with a current USA Card. There are no refunds for leaving the event early.
