Nia Miranda a freshman from Cy Ranch HS had McKenzie Cook from Alaska at 144 and wins by decision 4-1 to become Team Texas 2nd Cadet Freestyle Champion this week but in the women’s division. Miranda was a state qualifier this past folkstyle season at 148lb.
Hunter Robinson fell short of a Cadet Freestyle National Title and settles for 2nd place. Robinson at 138 was up against California Girl Emily Se. Robinson was a State runner up this last season as well.
