In its 22nd year the NCWA National Championships being held in Allen Texas at the Allen Event Center will host 500 wrestlers in the men’s and women’s divisions representing 78 teams from 30 states and 9 conferences. The National Collegiate Wrestling Association is made up of wrestling programs from around the USA who are not an NCAA or NAIA division programs and per Jim Giunta the Executive Director has been a spring board for some wrestlers to make the jump into the NCAA D1 programs.
Wrestlingtexas will be catching the action from Session II on with over 10 Texas programs making the trip and Schreiner University in their 1st year qualifying the most wrestlers out of the Southwest Conference.
