Mitchell Borynack is Mortgage X-Change Wrestler of the Week. Borynack wrestled for Elite Athletic Club Stars at Battle in the Burgh High School Duals in Philadelphia, PA from September 19-20, 2020. This Duals tournament is considered by many to be the Super 32 of Duals Tournaments, as teams are almost exclusively composed of HS State Champs and placers from superior wrestling states from across the country, including PA, IL, NY, NJ, CA, MD, VA, IN, MN, WI, IA, OH, and 1 wrestler from Texas, Mitchell Borynack of Frisco Liberty HS. Needless to say, the competition in every match was nothing short of BRUTAL!
Mitchell Borynack placed 4th at TX UIL 5A state and is currently ranked #3 at his weight in TX 5A State. He recently wrestled at RMN Nationals where he place 5th in 15U 123lbs and placed 3rd at RMN Mount Rushmore NationalS HS 120 over this past summer. Borynack of Frisco Liberty HS, wrestled in the duals at those events with Elite Athletic Club and at the King of the Ring Duals in Indiana where he went a combined 16-4, losing to the Wisconsin, New York and Minnesota HS State Runners up.
Borynack wrestled head to head in every single match coming up 4-5 overall, but beating State Placers from the largest IL HS division (3A) 6th placer by a score of 1-0 and PA PIAA 2A State placer, ranked #7 on Flo, by a score of 2-0. He pinned a PA Regional Placer and a CA Super 32 Qualifier (3rd place). In addition, Borynack went beyond regulation with a HS National PREPS wrestler losing 3-1 in SV and losing to a wrestler from Maryland who place 3rd at State in TB-2 (4-1).
Mitchell also earned 4 full period ride-outs, and only allowed only 2 take downs on him in regulation, only 1 of which was in the first period.
